Meet Richard

Richard R. (Dick) Robie, IAR, adds value to his clients by providing a truly objective and completely private wealth management experience. He lives his life based on the five F’s: Faith, Family/Friends, Finance, Fitness, and Fun.

Dick earned a B.A. in Zoology/Animal Biology from Texas Tech University in 1974 and an M.A. in Health and Physical Education Fitness from the University of Utah in 1977. In 1985 Dick retired from coaching and teaching, and began a career as a financial advisor with IDS Financial Services, now known as American Express Financial Advisors. In 1988 Dick began working for A.G. Edwards & Sons Inc. In 2002, Dick founded Retirement Planning & Wealth Management LLC.

Dick is active in his church and community. He is a member of Kairos Prison Ministry, where he spends his free time sharing his faith with the residents of his local prison. Since 1988, Dick has been active in Rotary, serving as past president of Brazosport Rotary and currently as a charter member of Texas Gulf Coast After 5 Rotary.

Dick is happiest hiking the mountains with his family, or spending time with his grandchildren. His beloved labrador retrievers are his favorite hobby.
